Telemarketer That Defrauded Missourians Through Robocalls Has Assets Frozen

Attorney General Jay Nixon on Thursday (Nov. 29,2007) obtained a court order freezing the assets of a San Francisco company that gave false information to Missourians in telemarketing calls selling credit card consolidation and credit counseling services. The order, signed by St. Louis City Circuit Judge John Garvey, was issued against Telelytics and its officer Scott Kaplan. Kaplan and Scott Olson, CEO of defendant Generations Direct, have been ordered to travel to St. Louis to give depositions regarding the false information.

Nixon previously obtained temporary restraining orders against Telelytics, along with Generations Direct and Vitelity Communications and their CEOs, in April and October. The April order was entered as a result of the defendants making telemarketing calls to Missourians on the No Call list, and the October order was due to allegations that the defendants were making fraudulent statements in those calls while attempting to make a sale.

Telelytics was making one million robocalls a week across the United States at one time, according to a deposition statement from Kaplan. According to Nixon, the defendants used automated calls to contact Missouri consumers and then told those consumers, among other things, that they had been approved to consolidate their credit cards down to as low as 1.5 percent interest; that the consumers had already been approved by a "certified non-profit agency"; that Debt Solutions was "dedicated to helping folks regain their financial freedom"; and that the consumer would be transferred to a "certified credit counselor right away." Consumers were told to call a specific person, "Karyn McCarthy," at an 800 number to receive more information.

Nixon says none of those statements made in the robocalls were true. Consumers who called back were eventually directed to representatives of a separate company who would try to sell debt consolidation and other services to them. "It was important to go to court while our lawsuit against these defendants is still pending and get an order freezing their assets to make sure Missouri consumers are protected," Nixon said.

According to Thursday's order, all assets and funds owned by the defendant Telelytics are frozen. Additionally, defendants Kaplan and Olson are ordered to travel to St. Louis at their own expense so that their depositions can be retaken in the case, and they also are ordered to reimburse the state for travel expenses incurred in taking the defendants' previous depositions. The depositions of Kaplan and Olson are to serve as a sworn accounting of the company's assets, including who invested in Telelytics, in what amount, the location of those funds and the uses to which the funds were put.

Got a call from a caller at 214-969-5489 who somehow got my x-boyfriend's first name and mentioned that my boyfriend was trying to call me collect and that I need to provide him with my credit card number.

When I challenged this caller with things like I don't need to provide my credit card to accept a collect call, and asked who this is, company name, the caller hung up.

I also googled this phone number and there are many people who have received calls from this number asking for their credit card information. Be aware of these scam artists.

I just got home and had a message on my answering machine. It was a collect call from someone by the name Thomas Stahl (couldn't quite understand it). I looked up the number on www.411.com and it said it was a Land Line in Dallas, TX. I don't know anyone by that name and there's no one who would call me collect? Is it a scam, and they found my name in the phone book?

The real culprit in the calls coming from this phone number is the company in Texas that owns this phone number and doesn't monitor usage. I am a telecom consultant of 27 years, and have a customer in Manhattan with the named payphone. I am trying to find who owns the phone since the customer wants it removed. Verizon has 3 phones working beside this one, but Verizon says they do not know whose it is. The customer has no clue, and has not received commissions on the phone since they took over the property.

If anyone calls your home phone or cell phone. Contact your phone company. Sometimes they can put a call blocking, that will reject a specific number. Hope this helps those out there who are badgered by this person or persons from 212 969 5489. This is a pay phone that can not be traced to any one specific land line. So you can only empower yourself and stop the call from coming through by blocking it.

I am trying to write an article on, among other things, the decline of availabilty of payphones. I must admit I am surprised that there does not seem to be a database published by the telephone companies on the number of payphones that they maintain out there. Is that correct--that there is no such available database? I'm sure that efforts are made to keep the figures on this website accurate, but do those who maintain it have any estimate for what the possible margin of error in their count might be? And if so, is the count likely high (some phones counted more than once) or low (some phones missed)? Thanks!

Can anyone tell me how to check deleted text from my wifes cell phone i caught her afew times cheking her text when i asked her to show me she hit the erase button . I kept getting calls from 423-926-0014, it is a telemarketing firm which had the wrong number. Once I called them and told them the number they were calling was a childs phone they told me the name of the person they were trying to get in the next town from me where I got the phone last year. Apparently it was an old number of the person they were trying to contact. I got a message from the 214 969 5489 number a woman's voice asking if I'll accept the (collect?) call charges. The only thing I can assume is that my boyfriend who is incarcerated, who usually calls collect, is trying to call. I have caller ID and that is how I got the number. I also tried to call and it was constantly busy. His calls used to be thru MCI, now are thru some company Global Link something. It seems to be a generic trunk line used by phone companies...Not necessarily a place in particular. I used to handle phone setups for resorts, so I can safely say that it could come from anywhere.

At 11:30 pm, I received a call from 214-969-5489. It was a collect call from a brother-in-law in Oklahoma City. However, it wasn't a typical collect call. The answering machine message was from a woman rather than my b-i-l. She kept saying is any there? several times. The strange thing is that my sister-in-law in northern Missouri got the same call about the same time but they wanted her to pay for the call with a credit card rather than collect. I did some checking and was told this was coming from the Dallas area. I can't believe this though because my brother-in-law has been living in a shelter in OKC. He has been ill and since two family members got the same call so late at night, it has us concerned. He has to be in the shelter by early evening or he is locked out for the night. My daughter is on life-support, and my cell phone is the life-line between my daughter and her doctors who also use my cell phone to get info about our daughter's status if we're on the road. I cannot afford to be getting these prank calls.

Why would anybody post spam on a site used by people who hate telemarketers (telephone spam). Can anybody do something.

To "jd" with the home pay phone:

To get your phone working again, try opening it and manually removing the money that was deposited. Deposited money goes into a device called the "escrow" and is later dropped into the collection vault or the return slot.
If your phone is a coin-line type phone, the money will just sit there in the phone because regular phone lines do not send the coin-control signals. Also, disconnect any ground wires, as I had a problem with my phone when coins were deposited, it kept the pay phone off-hook all the time and interfered with the other phones on the line.

A friend of mine traveling on the road (on vacation)with her family called from this payphone number today at 6:37pm. She said there was no cell phone service where she was and to please call her back ASAP at this number/pay phone.She did not give an area code when she left her messege so I looked at my caller ID unit.
I tried to reach her for over an hour at this number but it was continuously busy.
Worried about my friend I called the camp ground they were supposed to check into. This number is in fact a payphone at that camp ground that does not take incomming calls, always gives a busy signal.

I am getting 4-5 phone calls a day from this phone number. There is never anyone on the other side. I have comcast digital phone svc. Is there a way to stop this number? This has been going on for a few weeks and I am tired of it!!

These people (206 415 9148)have called our home countless times. I truly appreciate the information on this page. Then, in some instances, it has shown as an unknown #. You would think that there would be some way to regulate this type of thing. It really shocks me to think that this is what business in the U.S. is developing in to. Again, I appreciate the posts.

I have also been called by this number. The person would call my cell phone every day during thrid period at my school. Finally I was sick and I answered the phone at home. When I picked up a lady on the other side told me that I had a message from Tennessee-which is odd because I don't know anyone there. She played the message and it was some guy trying to sell me a credit card. I found this even more strange because telemarketers don't leave messages. I hung up on the "message" and the man from the message called me back asking if I had a good credit report. When I told him that I didn't have one he hung up, but the number still calls my cell. I refuse to answer anymore- I thought it was just an annoying telemarketer until I googled the number.

My friend just called me from this phone number and he is at a gas station off of 40 about 25 miles west Albuquerque.

I received a call from 415-656-1073. This call was made by a person (my ex psychotic boyfriend) whose name is Thomas Land. He left me a message on my voicemail with the above number on my caller ID which may be a calling card number - I am not sure as he is actually calling from West Winfield, NY so I assume it is a calling card as he actually lives in the (315) area code in NY. He is obsessed with women and sex and is a crack addict. I receive threatening and harassing calls from him all the time and he doesn't stop calling. I would not be surprised he calls "strange numbers" just for the fun of it when he is stoned out of his mind. Be careful of this number.

I have a plan with sprint. Maybe about 6 months ago I started getting private phone calls day & night. Sprint told me there was nothing I could do about it unless I went to the police. Well just recently instead of my phone reading private it now reads unknown calls. The peoples at sprint told me that it was the same thing. They didn't even sound like the knew what I what talking about. They didn't even know how people called private. But is there anybody who knows what the difference is between private and unknown calls??????

For almost a year I have been receiving fax calls at all hours of the day and night on my home number, activated last summer (2006). I don't have a fax machine hooked up so I had no paper trail or info other than using *69 to get the calling number. I had AT&T's nuisance call bureau open a case twice, to no avail. I complained to the FCC, the Indiana Utilities Regulatory Commission, and the Indiana Attorney General's office. No one even responded to the complaints. I finally resorted to paying an online search firm $15 to get the name of the calling party and I spoke to someone there this morning. The gentleman I spoke to said that if someone discontinues service with the phone company but doesn't unsubscribe from the Fax Daily (now called MyCityDaily.com), then when the local number is reassigned, the new owner of the number will continue getting the faxes. If you find yourself with this problem, don't bother with your local carrier, nuisance bureau or regulatory agencies. Just find the owner of the number and do a web search on that name in your city.

okay the above number appears to be a credit card company. I just googled it again and it came up with some credit card company "First Premier". Not sure why they would be calling or why the phone would be busy when you try to call them, but on the website they have the above number....

To lyndsey in ohio & everyone. I have been getting calls from the same #423-926-0014. Have you ever answered the call? I too called it and only get a busy signal. They called last week a couple of times, never leaving a message and it's really starting to bug. Is there a way to block the number from calling us? It is calling my cell phone.

I am getting calls (3rd day in a row)from 212-547-7000, my caller ID states it's a New York number. No one answers when I pick up and when I tried to dial the number a message stated this is a non-working number. I've tried looking the number up on various payphone website, but to no avail. I'm concerned it may be a hoax, since I've heard of jerks that are locked up calling a number and making numerous calls, then BAM the person is stuck with a huge bill. I hope this isn't the case, that would soundly stink!

I got a call from 214 969 5489 this mornings. The caller said it was "the operator" and "Keith" wanted to make a collect call but since my phone "doesn't accept collect calls" I needed to give my credit card number. I refused. Then I googled 214 969 5489 and landed on this series of posts. I was going to call the cops but I won't considering that you apparently can not ID the particular phone the call came from.

This is getting rediculous. This number was for a credit card company that wouldn't stop calling to offer their merchant accounts. Once I called them and told them that we already had a mercheant account and that we were in the National Do Not call list but they kept calling. Now all they do is call and hang up immediately. This is getting annoying they call once or twice EVERYWEEK.

I got a call from this number as well and only heard my wife say "can you hear me" and then it disconnected. I then tried to call back without results. Did a reverse lookup on internet and it says "Dallas, TX" but later I found out from my wife (she is OK) that she was calling from a payphone in St. Louis. Stupid company! Some lady called my cell phone from this # about 2:40 am and told me that I had a collect call. She mumbled a name and of course I didn't understand. So I called out a name of a friend on the west coast and she said yes. Then stated since my phone didn't except collect calls would I like to pay with a credit card. Hell No!

I got a prank call at my business from this number several times in the past year, and I googled the number. It's listed in the Google Phonebook under A. Watson 2021 Columbus Street Dallas, Texas 75204. I read a post about someone who has a missing wife. Perhaps you should have the police check out this address. I just get a busy signal when I call the number, but maybe they can search the address. I really hope everythig works out, because the idiot calling people from that number should be stopped.

This number is a number that shows up when you receive a call from someone using a prepaid phone card. That is all!

Okay.. ILD-ILD aka as ILD is a long distance carrier. For the person who is getting charges from ILD on their bill to an 800# ... likely the person who owns the 800# is a customer of ILD. You should call ILD and tell them that you are getting charges on your bill. Also you can call your Local Carrier and tell them it's fraud. See what they can do for ya.

All in lieu of all the stories I have read here ... here are 7 helpful steps to avoid fraud and harrassment.

1. Never give out any info to anyone you don't know.
2. Don't accept unwarranted Collect calls
3. If you get a recording and not a live person hang up. Never start pressing numbers.
4. If you receive calls from unknown numbers or your caller ID says 000-000-000 it could be from an international location and be a scam.
5. Check the OGM (out going message) on your voicemail and answering machines frequently.
6. Never leave a passcode for any phone device on the default.
7. Change your passwords frequently

I see a lot of people complain about this number. I think it could be what they call a pseudo #. This is a number that shows up when calls are placed via an operator, prepaid calling card and or a roaming cell phone. It's likely owned by a large phone carrier and has nothing to do with where the person is actually calling from. If you are getting harrassing calls from a number you don't recognize you should report it to your Local Carriers call harrassment dept. If enough harrassment goes on from the number they can shut it down.

Squirrel ILL post by this person about her hubby having multiple accounts. Good thing is the law says since your his wife you can obtain any information you want about his accounts. If you know the numbers do a reverse search and find out the name of the owner of the line (ie Cell Phone Company). Then call them give them the number and they should be able to tell you the info. If you dont know his number call the phone company and ask for the account by name. If push comes to shove, hire a lawyer and have his phone records supeonaed

This number has a Local Phone Company of Southwestern Bell. It is a LAN LINE. It doesn't appear to be a payphone. For the person who is getting harrassing calls from this number. It is located in Dallas Texas. I suggest you make call call to your local phone company and report it to the call harrasment dept. Also known as call tracing.

All for your information this number is associated with the following company. I found this information on whocalledme.com. It's a scam don't call them back. Don't accept their call. And for gosh sakes don't purchase their product. It apparently cost $699.99 and they promise a lower fixed rate on all your credit cards of 6.9%. Then later send you a package from DHL with paper work to fill out all your credit card information. Who knows they might want your first born child as well. It's a SCAM DONT BUY IT!!!

Just received a call from this number (CallerID says its from West Palm Beach, FL) with a recorded advertisement. Pressing "1" to speak to an agent to be removed from the call list, "Jessica" answered rather rudely and was not helpful, hanging up on me. Calling back, the number reaches a recording stating the number has been disconnected.

UPDATE: Operator assistance for the 561 area confirms the number is not in service. How is it a number that is not in service ends up displayed on CallerID?

(214)969-5489 seems to be a company number, not an actual pay phone number coming from one pay phone in particular. I've been researching this 'mysterious' pay phone number as I recently received a couple of calls from the number. I didn't have a 'mystery caller' as many of you did, but rather, I knew who was calling me and the location of the pay phone he was calling me from. This particular pay phone is located in Rochester, VT, but the number itself belongs to a whole slew of pay phones across the country and I believe, in Canada as well. Rochester, Vermont has an (802) area code and this is why I looked it up. I knew there had to be some explanation for this. As far as I'm aware, nobody has ever been able to call this number back. Think about it...would thousands of pay phones across the United States start ringing when one person dials (214) 969-5489? This is sort of like a large office building that has hundreds of employees making calls which will appear to come from the same number, but really, it's not one single phone, but extensions. This pay phone number is set up in a similar fashion, only the extensions are a bunch of pay phones located in multiple states at various locations, and obviously, the owner of the telephone number, is the only one aware of each pay phone's 'extension' so to speak. After I spent a little time researching, I thought it would be helpful for people to identify all of the pay phones that have this particular number. I figured I would start the list...
Location of pay phone: Main Street, Rochester, Vermont, I believe it's the one just outside of the grocery store. There's pay phone at the Rochester Gas Station, but I think that phone still has its original (802) area code, meaning it's most likely not owned/operated by the same company as the pay phone with the (214) area code.

Tip: If you receive any suspicious calls from any pay phones or unidentified phone numbers, LOOK THEM UP ONLINE. You're likely to find some answers. I did.

Oh, and one other thing...don't ever believe anything a stranger tells you over the phone. If they sound legit, then ask them if you can call them right back...most fraudulent callers cannot be called back. If they can be called back, look up the number they give you on the Internet. There are lots of numbers posted on various sites/forums that have been used thousands of times and people have reported these numbers when something spelled out SCAM.

Twice when my boyfriend called me, the number came up restricted ID. I asked him where he was and he said a pay phone. Is it true that the number can come up as that on a pay phone or is it being blocked? He may have been using a calling card. Would that do it?

We received multiple calls from an 810 area code saying that it is the Genesse County jail (40 or more calls) and then started receiving calls from the 214-969-5489 from the same black man; we accepted it once to tell him to stop calling, that it is the wrong number, and he asked for my girlfriend by name, then asked her to call a number and he hung up.

I went to Macys.com and clicked on "Contact Us" (where their 800# can be found) and called them. I was transferred to Macy's Fraud Department and they verified that 727.556.5772 was from their Collections Department. Apparently some deadbeat gave them our number as theirs and now they won't pay their bill. Macy's was very cooperative and removed our number from their database. Hope this helps and good luck!

We have been inundated with calls from this number asking for someone we don't know. We have told them at least SEVEN times to remove us from the list, to no avail. I have been getting phone calls on my cell phone from a woman who sounds like a real operator telling me that I have a telegram and to hold and then I am advised to press one, which I never do. I just got a call from the number 415 646 1073, i thought it was a strange number and area code since im from connecticut, as soon as i googled it i found this website which is a bunch of people who have been harassed from this number. My guess is that it must also be a payphone from the new haven/east haven/hamden area because i had recieved a call from this number last night from my ex boyfriend who does not own a cell phone and most likely used a payphone. Getting MANY calls from this number at odd hours of day and night. Haven't answered since we didn't recognize the number. Not sure what these folks are up to but have to say they're quite persistent.

I've been married now for a year and a half. There is another girl somewhere in this country with my new name, and she MUST have horrible credit. This number is kind of what you would call a National used number from payphones. I believe it is based out of Tx, but payphones all over US will show this number when getting call from payphone. Can not be giving location based on the number because is no one location. There are some payphones that will show dif number but very many will show this number. Hope this helped some of you out.

It was a ligit call but I did not give out any info other than my address/phone#/dob. Then he said it was regarding my payment that was not made. He asked if I wanted to make a payment by phone but I told him that I will be making the payment at the store, and then he proceeded to ask where I work or the number to my work, but I declined to let him know that info. The number 727-556-5772 (A florida number) called my cell phone at 7:30pm. I missed the call while I was in the shower. I have no idea how they got my number seeing as how I have a Seattle number. But I see this number came up in two other entries on here. Keep an eye out.

They not swearing at you or saying they going to hurt you so the only thing you can do is go to: DONOTCALL.GOV register your phone number and if they don't stop within 30days then you you can do some thing about it.

I got a call from 727-556-5772 at around 5:36 P.M. EST. It just so happens that my phone battery died right after the lady said whatever she said "Good evening, my name is XXXXX from XXXX....". When I called the number back, the message said to "please hold...your call may be monitored for quality assurance...", but it was, again, hard to hear what company it was.

Sounds like a bad thing, whatever it is...

I got a call from this number, 936-559-2200, no one I know, missed it thank god after reading all these posts. I do not have a chase card and never have! Any thoughts as to why they are calling here all the time?

I am certain that my husband is having multiple affairs like I'm certain he has multiple cell phone accounts, but I can't seem to prove it. It's my opinion that he has friends hold these phones for him & the accounts are in different names, but again I don't know where to go or look to find the answers. Can anyone help me learn how to find whose name the accounts are in & when precisely the account was opened? I would also like to know what all various phone things can be purchased, like for instance when I dial a number it says it's disconnected though it's clearly not?

I have received 5 calls from this number in the past week, answered once and heard a "fax machine" noise in the background ~ no response. checked the number in the white pages "a private land line in St. Petersburg, Florida area". Sounds like another scam artisit at work.

I received a call on [Saturday]at 4:42pm from this number. And since getting caller ID, we didn't answer it. We're on the DO NOT CALL list. We'll see if they try calling again....

This number called my house phone 5 times in a row. I did not answer. There were 2 new voicemails but both times the person just hung up without leaving a message.

Someone has got to stop these scum bags! They are calling my number at all hours day and night, and hanging up. Caller ID says only PM. My research tells me that this is an illegal recording machine that leaves messages on answering machines, if it does not get an answering machine it hangs up. The number is given by Marathon Communications in Seattle, but apparently it belongs to Guardian Communications of Moline Illinois. They have been sued by the FCC and the Attorneys General in severl states, but the hang up calls keep coming. I just got another one today at 8 in the morning.

I just took a collect call from my husband who is in the hospital 40 miles away. He was using the phone in his room and not a pay phone so it has to be a number that any operator can use. I know I use calling cards and even tho I use the same number to place all of my calls it always shows differnt caller ID numbers. I know it wasn't a scam cause the operator asked if I would accept the charges and I talked to him.

When I answered this call, an offshore caller tried to scam me. He represented Macy's and told me my account overdue. He needed me to call the bank for the transmittal # of the check because they did not recieve it. (even with a requst, a bank woudl never send that info).

I looked up my account on the Internet and tried to give him the confirmation # of my check but he wouldn't take ti. Then asked for my bank account # and eventually my soc sec #.

Just got a call from a family member from this number... so it's not just Texas or other areas around there, it's also on the Navajo Reservation... What gives?

I just called my local bbb because my bestfriend is getting phone calls from this telegraphj scam. The bbb went into the national data base and the number came up with nothing. so requested that we either record the next call and or shorthand making sure that we get the name of the company and the scam so we can make a report. hope that this helps.

I think this is a credit department for Macy's department store.

My best friend is getting screwed over by a man - you know, the usual lieing and cheating type. He has called her from a number that he says is a prepaid phone number but when we did some research we found that it is a pay phone number in Dallas.

727-556-5772 has called my cell twice. Last time was at 10:45am on 02/05/07 (Monday, yesterday). I called back at 10:55am. A computerized system answered and said: "your call may be monitored"; then I hung up ('cause I realized it wasn't important).

I just called again. The message identified the place as "The Credit Center"; "open Mon-Thur 8am-9pm and Fri 8am-5pm"

Hey-I solved the mystery. The above phone number has been calling my husbands cell phone numerous times. I googled it like the rest of you and looked it up on 411.com. Finally, I called the Johnson City, TN police department. Dispatched looked it up on the 911 system, and is registered to a Publisher-Telemarketing company. Get it blocked or go on the do not call list. They are trying to sell something....Hope this helps everyone!!

4156561073 is probably the caller-id display for a incoming prepaid card call. Some telephone companies do not pass the true originating telephone of the prepaid card call. They pass a "fake", non-dialable" number which will display on your caller-id box.

I keep getting calls from 801 484 1107. It's only late at night and during the weekends, so it cannot be from some legit company. I have not tried to answer it, nor have I called it back. Maybe I'll try that next time. To my knowledge nobody is trying to contact me with a phone card, though. I don't have a credit card.

Who the hell uses payphones anymore? Where can you find one? These are "spam" calls, like junk mail. What you need to do is play with them. Hanging up on them is the childish way out. Stand up for yourself and take your stress out on the dumb-ass on the other end. Keep your cool though and you'll have a good time. Remember, you don't know them.

Chase now has a "do not call" 800 number for folks who are getting these calls and are NOT Chase customers.

So I did a little research on it and found it's a land line/ provider: United Inter-Mountain Telephone Location: Johnson City, TN I have printed out the info and some of your posts and I am turning it into my local Authorities. I have call display and this number came up. When I checked my fax I found I had recieved a fax at the same time (I have both phone and fax come through on the same number). It was a Fax Ad for "75% off Florida & Bahamas cruise Vacation". It was from SS Travel & TOurs (1-800-930-2350) which are proably using some faxing agency. **At the bottom is the message "TO remove your fax number from our database, call toll free 1-866-668-5588". When I called this it is an automated voice asking for your number to remove it. I did it and it said that my number was successfully removed.

Number 214-959-5489 came up on my cell phone a few times last night, but I did not pick it up. I think this is a residential number that is being spoofed.
Spoofing is done when you make a call over the internet and change the caller ID. SBC Dallas TX owns NPANXX 214-959, but they wouldn't be able to help. I worked on a similar problem a few months ago when some Telemarketing Company spoofed their number and it came up as the local high school on the caller ID. Even Network Intelligence wasn't able to back track the source because it was VOIP. My advice - set the number to "no ring" and don't pick it up.

This number has been calling for 10+ times each day! Usually no one says anything when you pick up, only twice had a lady and a man in indian accent "calling from chase". They are persistant on trying to lure you for "payment you've missed", yet not at all professional sounding. I just hangs up on them.

I called chase and they are little help; chase need to take care of this right away to protect us-customers.

You need to call a phone that shows caller id's from the pay phone. Then call that number, not the one displayed on the phone wich is usually a parent companies number.

Some people might be using that Vonage service, where regardless of your physical location you can use any area code.

The number 4239260014 is from the LEC in Eastern Tennessee called United Inter-Mountain Telephone. It is a private unlisted number that is 100% automated.

When answering the call it states "You have a unheard telegraph listed. To listen to this message press 2, to have the telegraph message sent to your address by mail press 3, to unsubscribe from our directory press 4."

The recording does not repeat. I will not hit any buttons, because a lot of these numbers would charge you, at least it was common a few years back.

the number 4239260014 is not owned by Inter-Mountain, meaning they are not the ones making the calls... but the number is currently ported to their company, so it's one of their subscribers. The number will call you once in the morning and once in the afternoon.

I sstrongly advice everyone to contact this phone company and report this number as spam or get some owners information. A lot of states are adding cell phones to the do not call list... I am not sure if it is a federal law yet.

everytime they call I call them back, calls have become less since I have been doing this. Kept one of them on the phone for 25 minutes!!! Asked her if she was being forced to do this she said no.
